meet emileigh!

 

Originally from the small resort town of Petoskey, Michigan, Emileigh Ireland is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist & artist currently living and working in Athens, Georgia.

While in school she had a focus on music & art with intensive vocal training that centered on mid-range strength which began a journey for a deep understanding between the mind & body to create an expansive range of vocal expression.

Drawn to Athens in 2009, after seeing the creativity and collaboration of the active music scene while attending Athens Popfest in 2008, she’s played in numerous bands over the years with various roles, such as Helen Scott a band co-created with Lindsey Jane Haddad.

As a solo performer, she has been a voter nominated finalist in the category of “Best Singer/Songwriter” for the Flagpole Music Awards twice & has appeared as a featured performer in an Off-Broadway production. Her art has appeared on book covers, in music videos, and galleries.

Now in her 10th year of teaching, she shares her musical expertise- vocal, instrumental, and theory- as a music and vocal coach through both in-person and online sessions, nurturing and guiding her students to discover and develop their skills and find their unique voice.
